Temple of Peace

Currently the Denver Center of the Kriya Yoga Institute provides basic meditation guidance and support to the area. The Kriya Yoga Institute is planning to start a new spiritual center in the Rocky Mountain region, specifically in the greater Denver area. This new spiritual center will be called "The Temple of Peace".

The mission of the Temple of Peace is to become a productive, regional community and family center. Emphasis will be on building an extended community of individuals who want to dedicate their lives to selfless service and create an environment of love and peace.

In Sanskrit, Kriya means "work is worship," and Yoga means "union with God". Thus, the Temple of Peace will be a spiritual center where one strives to live by the principles of spiritual life in order to realize the joy of the Divine. Kriya Yoga is not a religion. It is a meditation technique that embraces the unifying message and themes of all religions and spiritual traditions. Kriya Yoga promotes personal inner transformation through meditation to create more inner peace and love within individuals, communities and eventually the whole world.

The new center will welcome spiritual seekers from all religious (and non religious) backgrounds. We believe in the unifying message of all religions and spiritual traditions and the unifying message of all of their founders. We also include Atheist and Agnostics traditions. We are not a religion. We invite all to practice a scientific meditation technique to enhance their own spiritual journey and beliefs.

We promote personal inner transformation through meditation to create more inner peace and love, and believe that this will lead to the increase of peace and love in the world.

We promote the concept of service to all humanity through any means possible.

We are currently looking for a suitable property for the Temple of Peace and raising funds to support its ongoing operation. Please consider helping the Temple of Peace to become a reality in our Rocky Mountain Region
